Tell us what’s going
A short list, a few photos, and the address. Stairs, tight drives, and low ceiling basements help us quote it right.
Junk removal · Oneonta, NY 13820
Bear Junk Solutions is a local crew in the City of the Hills. You point at what has to leave. We quote it, load it, and take it the legal way — donate and recycle first, county facilities after that.
How it works
Most jobs around here are the same story: a porch, a basement, a rental that has to turn over. You show us the pile. We give you a number. We do the lifting.

Photos help us show up ready. We price the job in person after we see the pile — then lock it before we load.
Garage, attic, basement, or the spare room. You don’t have to drag it to the curb.
Items are first recycled or donated if applicable. The landfill is last.
This town
Home base is 13820 — brick downtown, two colleges, old houses on the hills, and rentals that empty in mid-May. We know the stairs, the narrow drives, and the barns off the state road.
What we haul
If it isn’t barred by New York or Otsego County, and we can move it safely, we can most likely take it. If we can’t, we say so before we drive over.
Boxes, leftover move piles, and the stuff sitting in a spare room or porch.
Couches, dressers, tables, chairs, bedroom sets, mattresses, and piano removals.
Washers, dryers, stoves, cooling units, etc. Freon appliances are quoted so refrigerant can be handled legally.
Garages, attics, basements, student rentals, and estate or property cleanouts.
Drywall, lumber, carpet, cabinets, and debris we can load.
TVs, computers, and monitors — we can take them, but they have to be recycled.
Grills, storm leftovers, hot tubs, sheds, decks, bagged leaves, and green waste. We don’t drop trees.
New York & Otsego County
Otsego County’s Mandatory Source Separation and Recycling Law requires commercial haulers to keep recyclables out of the trash and deliver to county-designated facilities. New York bans household hazardous waste and covered electronics from the regular dump. We work to those rules. We do not invent license numbers on this site, and we will not take an item we cannot legally move.
County Household Hazardous Waste Day is the legal path for most chemicals — typically August. We can take TVs and covered electronics, but they have to be recycled.
